Should the application be in English or Swedish?

Please write your CV and personal letter in English.

 

Do I need to speak Swedish to be able to apply?

Northvolt’s company language is English, no previous knowledge of Swedish is required.

 

I will need a visa to work in Sweden, can you help me?

We will assist you in getting a visa if you need one.

 

I don’t know how to get accommodation in Stockholm/Västerås, can you help me?

We cannot assist you in finding accommodation for the summer, you will have to ensure that yourself.

 

How far away is Västerås from Stockholm?

Västerås can be reached with regional train in 1 hour and by car in 1:15 from the centre of Stockholm.

 

Will it be paid for?

Yes, the internship will be paid accordingly.

 

How long is the internship for? During what period?

The internship will commence in the second week of June and run for roughly 9 weeks, ending in August.

 

What will I actually do during my internship period?

You will get to know Northvolt as a company, learn about our values, hang out with our employees as well as other interns.

Your tasks will vary depending on what internship position you apply for. All of our interns are working closely to experienced managers so you will have a great opportunity to learn and develop both personally and professionally.

 

Will I be informed if I don’t get the internship?

We will inform you as soon as we know whether we want to move forward with your application or if it has been declined.

 

What tests will I have to take?

The assessment includes a general ability test and a personality questionnaire. Completing these tests takes no longer than 40 minutes and is done through your web browser.

 

Will I be placed in Västerås or in Stockholm?

The interns for Cell design, R&D and Process Engineering will be placed in Västerås for a majority of the time, the rest will be seated in Stockholm.
