In Gdańsk, Poland, we assemble battery modules and packs. It’s where our battery systems for industrial applications and energy storage solutions come to life.

In 2023 we opened Northvolt Dwa ESS – a highly automated factory for energy storage systems, alongside an industrialization and engineering R&D center.

Northvolt is expanding globally and Gdańsk will play a central role in supporting its growth. In January 2024 we launched Northvolt Global Scaling Services to provide centralized services for all Northvolt entities.

Northvolt has built Europe’s largest factory for energy storage systems, powered by 100% renewable energy. Using cutting-edge machinery and digital solutions, Dwa ESS will create the future of battery systems, with an R&D center on site.

Dwa Industrial

Module & pack assembly

Dwa Industrial has been operational since 2019 and is where we build and assemble modules and packs, including Voltpack Core and Voltpack Mobile System, to support the electrification of the industrial sector.

Global Scaling Services

Services

We’re establishing a new service center to support Northvolt’s global growth and efficiency. Northvolt Global Scaling Services provides HR, supply chain and finance services, and acts as an R&D center for IT services.
