Valuable experience Work experience from industries such as paper mills, food, chemicals, electronics, oil and gas production or smelters and/or educational training as an operator is very relevant. Experience from working with pneumatics, hydraulics and automation as well as maintenance of machines and equipment is also valuable.

Roles in focus

Manufacturing Associate

Work at Northvolt’s core – where battery cells are made. Key duties involve controlling and monitoring the machines, refilling material and supporting in improving manufacturing processes.

In some roles, you won't be working directly with the machines. Instead, you'll help prepare batteries for shipping or support production in other important ways.

Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technicians ensure that machinery and production equipment are kept in good condition, and support in servicing machinery to prevent downtime. Should downtime occur, they investigate what’s wrong, how to fix it and how it can be avoided in the future. Their work is critical to keeping production lines working optimally.

Material Handler

They make sure that the material flow runs smoothly in production. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading and unloading waste, materials and cells in accordance with current routines and guidelines. For this role, a truck certificate is required.
